CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. All entries to be submitted by Thursday 23^rd July 2009 to Dyffryn Ardudwy Fun Day Committee c/o Judith Hughes, Ty Benar, Ffordd Benar, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Gwynedd. LL44 2RX (01341 247665). Entries submitted after this date will not be allowed to compete if numbers considered too high.

2. Entry fees are £5.50 per person over the age of 18 and £4.50 per person under 18. An entry form must be completed with the team name, the names of all the team members with their names and addresses and contact telephone number. Please include date of birth if under 18. The entry form must be signed by the team captain to agree to abide to these conditions. The team captain must be over 18.

3. All racers are in the best-dressed category for judging. There is a trophy for the fastest team to keep for one year. A prize will be given for the best-dressed team.

4. All entries are based on a pram chassis or similar pedestrian propelled vehicle. Designs not suitable for a family day will not be allowed. Adjudicators decision regarding suitability of entry on the day will be final.

5. All entries should meet by the stage at the fun day field at 1pm for booking in and judging. The race will commence at 1.30pm.

6. All entrants must consume half a pint of liquid refreshment at each race station. Under 18’s will only be allowed a soft drink. Drinks must be consumed at each race station and not en-route. The race will be considered over at 3.30pm and prizes will be awarded ASAP.

7. Prams left on the field or along the route must be removed by 7pm the following day, otherwise a charitable penalty of £10 will be charged for the disposal after this time!!

8. Entrants are liable for any personal injury or property damage caused in the event of an accident. No claims can be entertained for anything that may happen to entrants, onlookers their property or servants in connection to the event. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from such occurrence. Behaviour after the event should be such that it is not prejudicial to the event in future years.
